Trick Or Treat: It’s Joker & Candyman!

October 7, 2019

Skyline Scares continues!  And your Skyline offers yet another triple-feature……. Joker (2019) followed by the original Candyman (1992) followed by the 80’s classic Trick Or Treat (1986)

Open Friday & Saturday only!  Gates open @ 6pm – Joker on screen @ 8pm

Joker debuted with the biggest October weekend opening ever for a film – ’nuff said.  When was the last time you saw Candyman on the big screen?  Probably 20-something years ago – so to celebrate it’s 27th anniversary – we’ve got Candyman! And speaking of last times, when’s the last time you even saw the classic 80’s horror film Trick Or Treat (not to be confused with the 2007 anthology film) – well stick around and check this little seen flick on the big screen.

We have a winner! Name one of the several alternate titles of Spider BabyCharles Kuhfahl correctly answered with one of several possibilities: “The Maddest Story Ever Told“.  Charles wins 2 free passes to the Skyline!!

This weeks trivia:  Candyman combines elements of two real urban legends?  Be 1st to reply to info@theskylinedrivein.com to win 2 free passes to the Skyline!!

Joker, Joker, Joker!

September 30, 2019

This weekend the month of October means Skyline Scares!  And what better way to kick it off than with a triple-feature……. Joker followed by a mini-tribute to the recently departed Sid Haig: Spider Baby and House Of 1000 Corpses!

Open Friday &  Saturday only!  Gates open @ 6pm – Joker on screen @ 8pm

Word on the street is Joker is fantastic and it looks like it comes with a tinge of horror.  Following, we have the Skyline’s mini-tribute to the amazing Sid Haig – starting with his 1st horror movie and ending with his most iconic: Spider Baby and House Of 1000 Corpses.

We have a winner! Since the last question was about how short Rambo’s hair was in Last Blood – what else is distinctly short about Last Blood?  Heather Melton correctly answered “The length of the film – it’s the shortest in the Rambo series”.  Heather wins, yet again,  2 free passes to the Skyline – possibly making her our only other patron this year to not pay for entry!
