Dario Argento!

For the first time ever we celebrate the work of Dario Argento with the 4K restored masterwork Suspiria plus 2 other Argento classics. It’s Suspiria, Deep Red and The Bird With The Crystal Plumage this weekend at your Skyline!

A newcomer to a prestigious ballet academy comes to realize that the school is a front for something sinister amidst a series of grisly murders in Suspiria.  After witnessing the murder of a famous psychic, a musician teams up with a feisty reporter to find the killer while evading attempts on their lives by the unseen assailant bent on keeping a dark secret buried in Deep Red. In The Bird With The Crystal Plumage, the witness of an attack, a writer becomes stalked by a serial killer

Skyline Scares – Week 2: In Memoriam

2017 saw the passing of horror icons Tobe Hooper and George Romero. In tribute to their work we continue  Skyline Scares with the originals: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Crazies and Night Of The Living Dead at your Skyline!

Two siblings visit their grandfather’s grave in Texas along with three of their friends and are attacked by a family of cannibalistic psychopaths in Tobe Hooper’s: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. In George Romero’s The Crazies, the military attempts to contain a man-made combat virus that causes death and permanent insanity in those infected, as it overtakes a small Pennsylvania town. And in Romero’s most famous work: Night Of The Living Dead, there is panic throughout the nation as the dead suddenly come back to life. The film follows a group of characters who barricade themselves in an old farmhouse in an attempt to remain safe from these flesh eating monsters.

IT’s A Stephen King Weekend As Skyline Scares Begins!

This weekend we usher in our yearly Skyline Scares with IT and Pet Sematary at your Skyline!

In the Town of Derry, Maine,  the local kids are disappearing one by one, leaving behind bloody remains. In a place known as ‘The Barrens’, a group of seven kids are united by their horrifying and strange encounters with an evil clown and their determination to kill IT. Behind a young family’s home in Maine is a terrible secret that holds the power of life after death. When tragedy strikes, the threat of that power soon becomes undeniable in Pet Sematary.

No triple-feature this Saturday night, but will rise again next week!
