Not even Mother Nature Could Stop The Guardians From Saving the Galaxy!

So the super-cool, super-special advanced screening last Thursday night of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 didn’t happen due to record rainfall in the area- we were thinking this may have been the 1st time we had to close due to rain – and it almost stopped us the next day – but thanks to the concentrated efforts of the staff – we opened on Friday night, albeit a little late but frankly the night turned out to be quite pleasant for those that came out.

As for the headliner – Guardians is fantastic family fare, the audience response has been great, the reviews have been impeccable – so what better way to see such a spectacle than on the big screen of your Skyline Drive-In!

Our 2nd feature this weekend  marks the return of the epic Logan  and Saturday’s Drive-Insanity 3rd feature will be Return Of The Master Killer…. at your Skyline Drive-In Theater.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2, as the title implies,  continues the adventures of our galactic superheroes as a threat to the universe has special connection to Star-Lord.  Logan is a fitting farewell to one of Marvel’s greatest superheros .  While our Saturday night-only Drive-Insanity 3rd feature, Return of The Master Killer aka Return to The 36th Chamber, is a 1980 Kung Fu comedy Roger Ebert probably didn’t even bother to see!

And we have a winner!   Chip Karpus wins 2 free passes to the Skyline by answering correctly that Kurt Russell’s 1st Disney flick was “Follow Me, Boys”

This weeks trivia: GOTG Vol.2 pays homage to the ‘original’ Guardians Of the Galaxy from the comics can you name the original Guardians that appear in the movie?   Be 1st to reply to to win 2 free passes to the Skyline!

This weeks SkyCafe special: Guardians Of The Galaxy Sampler for $5.50 – 5 Pepper Jack Cheese Cubes, 5 Corn Nuggets, 2 King Onion Rings, 2 Mozzarella Cheese Sticks…certainly as motley a mix as the Guardians!
