This Memorial Day weekend is the final weekend for Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul & Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, but this long weekend also finds Disney’s 5th installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise making shore at your Skyline Drive-In Theater.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales finds Jack Sparrow searching for the trident of Poseidon with ghost-pirates hot on his wake. Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul finds Greg and the rest of the Heffley family on a road-trip through, of all places, Indianapolis!!! Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 continues the adventures of our galactic superheroes as a threat to the universe has a special connection to Star-Lord. There is no Drive-Insanity feature Saturday night.
Because this is Memorial Day weekend remember that the Skyline will be open Thursday, yes this Thursday, Friday, Saturday AND Sunday! So 4 days a week we will be open starting this Thursday! In celebration we will be offering a free kids admission with the purchase of every adult admission – Thursday ONLY!
Sundays see the return of the Skyline Prize Wheel! Visit the Skyline on Sunday’s, look inside your handout given at the box office for a Golden Ticket – if you get one – you get to spin the prize wheel for free concessions, prizes and admissions!
We have a winner: Traci O’Rourke wins 2 free passes to the Skyline for providing the correct answer that the Watchers are whom Stan Lee is speaking to in his Guardians cameo. Congrats Traci!
This weeks trivia: What famous rocker is set to appear in Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales? Be 1st to reply to info@theskylinedrivein.com to win 2 free passes to the Skyline!
This weeks SkyCafe specials: In honor of Diary Of A Wimpy Kid (anyone remember the “Cheese Touch”)…say hello to the SkyCheese Sandwich: A sprinkle of Mozzarella, a slice of American and a dab of Nacho cheese on a toasted garlic-buttered bun, with a side of 5 pepper jack cubes…..$3.50 and if that’s not enough, how about a nod to Pirates Of Caribbean by getting a free side of french fries with every order of our tasty popcorn shrimp!
Last but not least, since this is a long weekend – with every night featuring triple-features – the movies won’t end until after 3:30am – folks are welcome to stay, get a little shut eye before heading home if they feel they need it, however, the SkyCafe, Box Office and SkyCade will close at the end of the movies – thus restroom access, games and food will not be available after 3:30am. We want our Skyliners to enjoy themselves, not feel they have to leave hurriedly and most importantly drive home safely!
With a weekend like this, how can you not make it out to the Skyline!
