Starting this weekend we have likely November’s biggest movie – the follow up to Wreck-It Ralph…..Ralph Breaks The Internet! Our 2nd feature is Disney’s live-action sequel of  the 1816 story “The Nutcracker & The Mouse King” by E.T.A Hoffman: “The Nutcracker & The Four Realms“.

This weekend we continue The Grinch – Dr. Seuss’ animated 1960’s Xmas classic gets a modern update with Benedict Cumberbatch!  Our 2nd feature is the acclaimed biopic Bohemian Rhapsody which tells the story of Queen’s mercurial (see what I did there) front-man, and the groups rise to rock n roll royalty!

We love Halloween so much – we want to give it one more weekend…so we will be showing Goosebumps 2 & Venom this weekend!  That means we will be open through November – can you believe it?!  So the Skyline season isn’t over yet – not by a long shot…..Grinch….Wreck-It Ralph…..lots of movies still to come!

Friday & Saturday only!

For our 1st weekend in October we say goodbye to one film, but welcome a new one…..the 1st is our last weekend for the animated film Smallfoot….a yeti named Migo is convinced that the elusive creatures known as “humans” really do exist after a chance encounter with one!  Our 2nd feature is the film adaptation of  John Bellairs beloved 1973 teen mystery novel The House With A Clock In Its Walls” in which an orphaned 10 year old boy goes to live with his uncle, only to find there is more to his uncle and his kooky house than meets the eye!

And as always, the 1st Saturday of the month means our monthly installment of Drive-Insanity is this Saturday – making this Saturday night a quadruple feature!!!   This Saturday, after Smallfoot and The House With A Clock In It...

We have a great lineup beginning this Friday at your Skyline:  The Emoji Movie debuts and War For The Planet Of The Apes rages on.

So the super-cool, super-special advanced screening last Thursday night of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 didn’t happen due to record rainfall in the area- we were thinking this may have been the 1st time we had to close due to rain – and it almost stopped us the next day – but thanks to the concentrated efforts of the staff – we opened on Friday night, albeit a little late but frankly the night turned out to be quite pleasant for those that came out.

As for the headliner – Guardians is fantastic family fare, the audience response has been great, the reviews have been impeccable – so what better way to see such a spectacle than on the big screen of your Skyline Drive-In!

Lexi began playing shows at 8 years old when she would step up during the set breaks at her Daddy’s shows and proceed to break every heart in the house with her sweet voice. Thanks for an awesome first night of our 65th season. Remember tomorrow (Saturday April 4th) is our Annual Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny. Gates open at 7pm the hunt is at 7:30pm and the movies start at 8pm. Oh and the new Skycade will also be open at 7pm. Hope you can all make it!

Tuesday at Nedfest: Dr. Mark and Scot Shrader and his Ugly Friends on stage plus Voyage to The Prehistoric Planet and Cat O Nine Tails on the screen. Gate opens at 5pm, music starts at 6:30pm and movies start at dark.
