Welcome Skyliners to Camp Skyline!  Each night  a triple-feature is served as you camp out, overnight, if you dare!  We are screening Friday the 13th’s Part 4: The Final Chapter  &  Part 5: A New Beginning along with the schlock masterpiece “Drive-In Massacre” . Food is served all night as iconic maniacs will be running around the lot scaring up fun! The Clock Strikes 12 For Smallfoot

For our 1st weekend in October we say goodbye to one film, but welcome a new one…..the 1st is our last weekend for the animated film Smallfoot….a yeti named Migo is convinced that the elusive creatures known as “humans” really do exist after a chance encounter with one!  Our 2nd feature is the film adaptation of  John Bellairs beloved 1973 teen mystery novel The House With A Clock In Its Walls” in which an orphaned 10 year old boy goes to live with his uncle, only to find there is more to his uncle and his kooky house than meets the eye!

2017 saw the passing of horror icons Tobe Hooper and George Romero. In tribute to their work we continue  Skyline Scares with the originals: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Crazies and Night Of The Living Dead at your Skyline!

IT’s A Stephen King Weekend As Skyline Scares Begins!

This weekend we usher in our yearly Skyline Scares with IT and Pet Sematary at your Skyline!

In the Town of Derry, Maine,  the local kids are disappearing one by one, leaving behind bloody remains. In a place known as ‘The Barrens’, a group of seven kids are united by their horrifying and strange encounters with an evil clown and their determination to kill IT. Behind a young family’s home in Maine is a terrible secret that holds the power of life after death. When tragedy strikes, the threat of that power soon becomes undeniable in Pet Sematary.

Skyline partners with 44 Family Flea Market

The Skyline has partnered with the 44 Family Flea Market in Shelbyville.  They have kindly offered us a booth to continue selling items to build up our digital projection fund.  We are in booth #43 inside their building at 1205 E. St.  Rd. 44 in Shelbyville.  It’s only about 3 miles from the Skyline.  We will continue to stock our booth with cool items for the next few months so stop in and check it out the inventory will continually change.  Also if you have any items you would like to contribute for the sale just drop us an email at info@theskylinedrivein.com or call our office Tuesday-Friday at (317) 398-6827.  Thanks for all of your support.

2nd annual Christmas at The Skyline December 7th

For those of you who missed Christmas at The Skyline last year mark your calendars for December 7th at 5pm.  Yes this is a real event.  We are the only drive-in around that’s crazy enough to do hold a Christmas event.  We had great fun last year and are looking forward to seeing all of you.  As always this is a free event sponsored by our good friends at Blue River Printing of Shelbyville.  We open at 5pm on December 7th and Santa arrives then too.  We will be showing The Polar Express and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation plus some extra fun stuff.  The movies will start by 6pm.  For those of you who were here last year you might remember we were accepting donations for Santa’s Protectors.  Well this year we are accepting for the Skyline’s digital projection fund...

Sammy Terry hosting Hammer Film Fest

On October 18th legendary horror film host Sammy Terry will be at the Skyline Drive-In.  He will be hosting our Hammer Film Fest and also performing not one but two of his famous stage shows.  He will be on hand for photos as well.  We will be showing Curse of Frankenstein (1957), Horror of Dracula (1958) and The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires ( a mash up of Hammer and the Shaw Brothers starring Peter Cushing).  This is an event you don’t want to miss.  Our Terror Trail will be opening early so the little kids can go through in the daylight.  But after dark only walk the trail if you dare.  We will be opening the gate at 5:30pm and the fun will start at 7pm.  So come early for a good spot.

Legendary horror host character Sammy Terry will be at the Skyline on October 18th from 6:30pm-10:30pm.  This is your chance to meet Sammy and listen to his ghoulish stories.  There is no extra charge to meet him, just buy a movie ticket and enjoy the show.  Sammy will also be introducing our Hammerfest movie night.  We will be showing three classic Hammer Films.  First up will be Curse of Frankenstein and then Horror of Dracula.  We will wrap up the night with The Legend of The 7 Golden Vampires.  Also don’t forget to walk our Terror Trail and help support our digital projection fund.  It will be a ghoulish time!
