We’re Going Kaiju Krazy!

Look out Kaiju are on the loose!  Based on the 1986 arcade game, the Rock stars as a primatologist trying to stop 3 mutated gargantuan animals from cutting a swath of destruction across North America in, Rampage!  Our 2nd feature continues the Kaiju kraziness with the 2nd installment of Pacific Rim. Jake Pentecost, son of Stacker Pentecost, reunites with Mako Mori to lead a new generation of Jaeger pilots, including rival Lambert and 15-year-old hacker Amara, against a new Kaiju threat in Pacific Rim: Uprising.

Christmas at The Skyline finishes up our 64th Season

Well, what to say? For starters, Merry Christmas to all! Secondly, thank you to all our patrons for what turned out to be the BIGGEST & BEST Christmas @ The Skyline to date. There was definitely an energy in the air last night….the cake from Sugar Coated Cakery was obliterated, the crab rangoons were vaporized, Santa’s lap was worn flat, the pinball machines were chimed out…money was raised for charity…..cameras everywhere capturing special moments…even a radio station showed up to do a piece on the Skyline. And the movies…what a great lineup of Christmas cinematic classics (and not so classics…lol) A special thanks to the dozen or so cars that stayed AFTER MIDNIGHT to watch the Drive-Insanity feature “The Magic Christmas Tree”...

‘Big’ announcement……we worked a deal with Disney and scored some Big Hero 6 swag to give away this weekend (and next) but the bigger announcement is we’ll be open for a special screening of Big Hero 6 with Alexander & the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day this SUNDAY!!! We’ve added Sunday to the weekend with the box office opening @ 5pm and Big Hero 6 beginning @ 6pm – that should give plenty of time to catch the movies and be back at home early enough for school/work! It’ll be $20 a carload for Sunday.

And as a bonus we will be showing UB Iwerks’ Skeleton Frolics (1937). WarBranch Productions Horror double feature October 2nd only

Independent horror debuts at The Skyline October 2nd with WarBranch Productions’ Double feature directed by Terence Muncy. Come see Hell Walks The Earth & second feature Slice on the big screen outside at The Skyline. The box office opens at 7pm and admission for this special screening is $10. The first movie will start at 8pm. No one under 17 will be admitted due to the graphic nature of these films.

Canine Companions For Independence at The Skyline Saturday September 13th

100% of our admission price goes to Canine Companions for Independence this Saturday. It’s a special night so it’s $25 per car load. Get as many dogs and people into your car as you can and come out and support this great cause. CCI will be there as well as Pet Pals TV. There will be treats for your dogs and draft beer from Broadripple brewery for you. Plus that great Skyline food including our fresh baked pizza. We will be showing Benji (1974) and A Boy, A Girl and a Dog (1946) plus some Pet Pals Tv segments. All dogs are welcome but must be on leashes.
